KAHF Biotech Announces PCT Filing for Its Target-Centric Oncology Platform
KAHF Biotech, Inc. announces the filing of an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), with claims directed to compositions of matter and methods of treatment underlying its target-centric, multimodality cancer therapeutic platform. This filing marks an important milestone in advancing the company’s therapeutic programs and intellectual property strategy.
KAHF has developed proprietary therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that induce cancer-cell death by engaging their target, with activity demonstrated in both in vitro studies and preclinical animal models. These unconjugated, or “naked,” antibodies act without an attached cytotoxic payload and form the foundation of KAHF’s oncology platform.
Building on these antibodies, the company has developed complementary antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) and CAR-T cell approaches and is further expanding its target-centric platform into additional therapeutic modalities.
Preliminary findings demonstrate cancer-cell killing in human colorectal cancer and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cell models, alongside reduced tumor growth and suppression of metastasis formation in an orthotopic mouse model of pancreatic cancer. These findings support continued preclinical development of KAHF’s therapeutic antibody program and broader platform.
The PCT filing supports KAHF’s plans to pursue patent protection in selected countries. As the company grows, it aims to build international partnerships and advance therapies toward clinical development, with the long-term goal of reaching patients worldwide.
KAHF thanks its scientific team, early investors who believed in its mission, collaborators, and intellectual property advisors for their support and contributions to this milestone.
Expansion of Our Patent-Pending Oncology Platform
Pleased to share that KAHF has announced the filing of patent-pending technology supporting its next-generation therapeutic platform focused on the development of novel cancer therapeutics and diagnostics. The company’s platform-based intellectual property portfolio encompasses a broad range of therapeutic and diagnostic modalities designed to target critical drivers of tumor progression, metastatic disease, and treatment resistance across solid and hematological tumors.
The portfolio includes first-in-class approaches spanning antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), T cell engager, Monoclonal Antibody, CAR-T cell therapies, antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs), degrader-antibody conjugates (DACs), DsiRNA-based therapeutics, targeted biologics, companion diagnostics, and additional precision oncology applications. The platform is designed to support the development of multiple therapeutic strategies across diverse cancer indications while enabling future expansion into combination therapies and translational diagnostic technologies.
This patent-pending platform represents an important milestone in KAHF’s mission to advance innovative therapeutic approaches for patients with aggressive cancers. We believe the breadth of this platform provides significant opportunities for future therapeutic development, strategic partnerships, and translational research.
KAHF continues to advance preclinical research and platform development efforts focused on translating emerging scientific discoveries into targeted oncology therapeutics.
“Our vision is to revolutionize cancer treatment particularly metastatic disease by developing impactful, effective, and affordable therapies that are accessible to cancer patients worldwide. We aim to overcome the current challenges of metastatic disease and ensure that groundbreaking treatments reach those who need them most, no matter where they are.”
KAHF Biotech Announces Initial Seed Funding
KAHF has successfully raised its initial seed round at a $10 million valuation cap, fully compliant with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
This funding will support the development of our Innovative therapeutic monoclonal antibody, advancing the identification and optimization of lead mAbs for Investigational New Drug (IND)-enabling studies. This milestone positions KAHF to reach the IND stage and transition toward clinical development.
Our lead program targets pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), with follow-on indications in colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, and other solid tumors. We are specifically aiming to address one of the greatest unmet needs in oncology: cancer metastasis.
In parallel, we are expanding into next-generation modalities, including Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs), Antibody Intracellular Delivery Conjugate (AIDC), and Degrader Antibody Conjugates (DACs), as we continue to push the frontiers of targeted cancer therapeutics.
We are deeply grateful to our early supporters and investors for believing in KAHF’s mission. Most importantly, we want to acknowledge our incredible team-your dedication, scientific rigor, and relentless commitment to advancing therapies for patients are what make milestones like this possible.
